FALL 2011 Fall Session Clogging Calendar This fall we start our countdown to our 2012 Showcase. Our Intermediate class begins work on their ALL NEW show for the showcase performance. Our Performance Team dancers will learn the country mix song for the show. This routine will have partner sections. This is usually one of the 'crowd favorites' in our show. We can't wait to get started putting it all together! See you on the dance floor!

USED SHOES NEEDED We will have LOTS of new dancers this fall so we need your used shoes! If you have any shoes hiding in your closet, bring them in! You set your price. (Usually between $30-$40)

A few fun showcase related items to share... We LOVE music. And we love how music and song can create positive energy, bring a smile to your face, or send a wonderfully powerful message. We selected songs for our showcase slideshows carefully -- hoping to create an overall message to our members. Here's some background information about the songs we selected.
We used the song WHEN I DREAM for our club slideshow. We LOVE this song! We love the message it sends to girls. And we hope that we keep doing our part to help our girls build the confidence they need to believe anything is possible. This theme song was written for Pigtail Pals by Jill Dawson. Take some timte to follow the links to their websites.
We also used the song CINDERELLA by Steven Curtis Chapman. (It's just an all time favorite of mine.) We hope you enjoyed the message. We love being a part of the girls' lives. We love watching them grow and change over the years. And we know it goes way too fast. We hope we do our best at making them feel important when they are with us. You'll want to follow this link to find out more about Steven Curtis Chapman. And you simply NEED to take a moment to hear him in this YOU TUBE video tell the story behind the song. You'll see his video for the song and then he talks about where the idea for the song came from. (Oh, and grab a kleenex first.)
We used the song DREAM BIG by Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand for our Team Slideshow. (I found this song soon after my oldest was born and instantly fell in love with it.)
